SPECIFYING DGTV

Equipment needed – 1 Camcorder and USB cable to upload the footage. Camera and USB cable, 1 Computer with Adobe Premier to upload footage and add digital effects e.g. chromar key or screen ripple. A microphone to get a crisp sound for the narrator and not fuzzy.Video/Audio Settings – Video needs a brilliant white balance so when it comes to using special effects they are more effective and give a better outcome. Audio needs to have the tone set so it’s not to high and not to low basically so the narrator is easier to hear.Client needs – A 5 minute video of a tour around Stephenson college (presenting the college) personally I feel 5 minutes is to long and people will lose concentration fast.Audience – The age range is about 14+ the reason being that 14 – 15 year olds will be looking were to progress after they have finished school, 16 year olds will be deciding what course they may want to do, older people will either look to get a diploma or a possible job at the college.Graphics – Special effects will be designed to show off the college but at the same time maintain the viewers attention.

Today

Well for break we went to my car and i opened it with my key. we were driving down a low lighted desolate lane when we saw a white and blue van it was heading straight for us i swerved voilently to the side of the van and clipped it, it was the ice cream man we chased him down, smiley stuck his side out da window and fired a few rounds off, his assist then opened his backdoor, it was very dark and murky we were scared what would imerge! and then all of a sudden! he started to voilently shake his chocolate droppings at us and we were scared he would get out his nuts. We then got infront and slammed the breaks on colliding both cars were tipped over 3 times and everyone was vitually bleeding from all thier main important organs, we dragged our broken carcuses to the ice cream van AND THEN WE - asked for 1 icecream boat with chocolate and nuts, 1 99 flake, 1 rainbow lolly and a Feist it was very nice.

Proposal

The Audience for my tour around the college is a very broad range, this is because as a tour around the college it includes all ages, young people to help them decide if they want to go to college and they can find out what college has to offer them. Older people Adults 18 - 60 might look to see if they may want to ret and apply for a job.

The Final outcome should be that there is a DVD ready to be deployed and a web based media player on the internet.

I have just done some research for TV idents, i have focused on the 3D 1's the most because that's what inspires ROAR me. i have collected ROAR a sample of about 12 TV idents, i have then annotated them and to ROAR try find more inspiration for ROAR my work. I noted down possible ways and ROAR methods. When annotating i noticed some of the ROAR TV idents were themed especially the SKY ROAR three one's i have noted this down and will make a mind map of possible themes i could have for Dead Good.. Dead Good? DEAD GOOD TV!.......roar..
Today I have just created a deaf signer. This was achieved by making a random video of Kev dancing then getting Hadley to sit there and zone out for 16 seconds. i then uploaded the videos and deleted the audio for Hadleys video and left Kevs audio still on. I used Chromar key to get a clear out-line of Hadley, i then postioned and scaled him down to fit in the page. I then went and asked Dan if i could get a drink of water and he didn't reply but i went and got 1 anyway.
This is my blue screening test of putting someone in a studio, the problem that i had was that the person i was filming was wearing to close of a colour to blue in all of his clothes meaning when i tried to use the chromar key to get rid of the blue screen aswell, i tried fixing this by using multiple amounts of chromar keys effects on each individual colour until the person was about to go aswell. this didn't work if i had a green screen it would have helped because every moron in my class wears Jeans - even me.

My Own Studio testing.

My Own Studio testing.
I started off by getting a camcorder changed the white balance on it so that it made it easier to use the chromar key tool when it came to making the background transparent.i then had to film myself as there were no volunteers. I wrote myself a script which i gave 5 seconds thought of reading it out but then in all my wisedom i ate it, Dan then came over after seeing me eating my script. i spat it out and that was the filming finished.I connected the camcorder to a computer and recorded the footage i wanted.I then went onto Adobe Fireworks and created a studio. I used to different areas which was a background and then on the foreground there was a table, with the table i had to save it as a PDF 32 file so that the background on the table picture would appear transparent, this allows me to sit behind the table when finished.I then rendered my image and had a sip of Lucozade when Dan wasn't looking. Here is my sample enjoy. HAHAHA..

yeeeah

In todays session we got down possible ideas for what we could have on the college website. We then came up with possible Words or any other suggestions we had for the name of the website. we eliminated any possible ideas which we didn't like, we wrote down the remaining names for the website then went out and got a tally of which people in the college Corridor liked the most, the biggest winner turned out to be "Dead Good" we then developed this and came up with "Dead Good TV". Dan then told us to write what we have done on our blogs and so i left the class room and went and got my car from the Aldi car park because there were no spaces left in college car park and drove it to the pub had something to eat then came back really worried that i wouldn't finish the blog!. Are you proud of me Dan? i did what you told me to do on time! Wheey!...
